Location: International mobile position – Assignment to any MSF project depending on needs.
Type of contract: “fixed-term contract” for each assignment with MSF.
These are full-time positions, based in one of MSF’s missions around the world.
International mobility is required.
A minimum availability of 6 to 9 months is required.
Fluency in Arabic, French, and English is essential.
Candidates must be able to work with limited resources and in challenging conditions.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and qualified Pharmacist to join our international pool of professionals for potential deployment to field projects.
As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for defining, coordinating and monitoring all pharmacy related activities in the project area including management of staff, according to MSF protocols, standards and procedures and the mission’s pharmacist and Medical Coordinator’s guidelines, in order to ensure the proper management and supply of drugs and medical devices.
Actively contribute to defining and updating the annual plan and budget for pharmacy activities.
Supervise the central and peripheral pharmacies, ensuring proper organization and implementation of protocols and procedures, including pharmacovigilance when needed.
Define and oversee storage, stock management, supply processes, and hygiene and security procedures (including pest and rodent control) to ensure proper storage conditions and correct handling of products and equipment.
Support the ordering and supply of medicines and medical devices, and monitor stock management across all project pharmacies to prevent expiries, overstocks, and stockouts. Report on medicine consumption and any unusual patterns.
Work with the logistics manager to maintain cold chain and proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanliness, light exposure, pest control) and ensure the classification and organization of medicines follow MSF protocols.
Collect data for monitoring and surveillance of medicine use, and support service-level activities such as drug distribution, prescription quality, rational drug use analysis, medication reconciliation, antibiotic stewardship, pharmaceutical care follow-up, patient counselling, and safe dispensing practices.
Supervise, coach, motivate, and evaluate all pharmacy staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and correct use of required protective clothing and equipment.
Identify training needs and opportunities for medical staff when necessary.
Complete all reporting tasks accurately to support decision-making, including monthly reports (SitReps, medical statistics, etc.).
Plan and supervise HR-related processes for pharmacy staff (recruitment, induction, training, evaluations, development, communication) to ensure appropriate staffing and competency levels.

Job requirements
A recognized diploma in Pharmacy
3 to 4 years of professional experience as an Accredited Pharmacist
Proven experience in team management
Fluency in Arabic, French, and English
A strong willingness and ability to work internationally and adapt to humanitarian contexts and challenges
Desirable previous experience with MSF or other NGOs in developing countries
