  • This advertisement is intended for Moroccans/residents of Morocco seeking international experience.

  • Location: International mobile position – Assignment to any MSF project depending on needs.

  • Type of contract: “fixed-term contract” for each assignment with MSF.

  • These are full-time positions, based in one of MSF’s missions around the world.

  • International mobility is required.

  • A minimum availability of 6 to 9 months is required.

  • Fluency in Arabic, French, and English is essential.

  • Candidates must be able to work with limited resources and in challenging conditions.

  • The entry level of monthly compensation for this positions is around 1800 Euros (net). Other financial benefits are added to the package.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our international pool of professionals for potential deployment to field projects.

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for Providing psychological support to patients according to MSF principles, standards and procedures in order to improve the patients’ mental health :

  • Assessing patients’ mental health needs, establishing diagnoses and treatment plans, explaining conditions and medication to patients and their families, and referring them to other health professionals when needed.

  • Implementing the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) protocol, identifying potential SGBV survivors, and referring them to the medical team for appropriate care.

  • Providing psychological support and psychotherapy sessions (individual, family, and group) according to MSF protocols to improve patients’ mental health.

  • Training and supporting staff and community resource persons when needed, and working closely with translators to ensure accurate and appropriate communication during sessions.

  • Collecting and reporting statistical and monitoring data on mental health activities.

  • Informing the supervisor and medical team of any issues related to patients’ treatment to ensure appropriate medical follow-up.

  • Ensuring strict confidentiality of all patient information.

Job requirements

  • recognized degree in Psychology

  • 3 to 4 years of professional experience as a Clinical Psychologist

  • Fluency in Arabic, French, and English

  • Desirable previous experience with MSF or other NGOs in developing countries

  • A strong willingness and ability to work internationally and adapt to humanitarian contexts and challenges
